We Are Pleased To Announce:

The Voices of Unity Youth Choir under the direction of Marshall White in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has been invited to participate and represent our city, state and country at the 6th World Choir Games in Shaoxing, China, July 15-26, 2010.

They are the first-ever Indiana choir to participate In the World Choir Games, which are called the “Olympics of Choral Music”, the largest international competition in the world.

To make this incredible opportunity a reality for the youth we serve, UPAF has launched the Dreams of Gold Choir Olympic Campaign to raise the funds necessary by July 2010. The cost of preparing and taking 80 choir members, and 30 production members, volunteers and chaperones to China for the World Choir Games is not small.

Yet, for the young people in our choir, this will be a growing experience that will impact their lives forever. Nearly all of the youth in our choir simply do not have the resources to cover the costs for this competition. To ensure a sense of responsibility and instill a strong sense of accomplishment, each choir member is responsible for raising a minimum of $1,000 for this campaign. Here is a positive opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of youth.
